Presenter: Jennifer Kennedy, MA, BSN, RN, CHC, Senior Director, Regulatory and Quality, NHPCO

Jennifer is the Senior Director of Regulatory and Quality for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and has been with the organization since 2006.  She has more than 30 years of experience as a leader and nurse in diverse healthcare settings and has worked in hospice and palliative care for the last 18+ years.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, a dual master’s degree in health education and case management, and will complete her doctoral degree in health care education and policy in December 2017. Jennifer is a certified compliance professional and legal nurse consultant.  She speaks at national and state conferences, writes articles for trade journals, contributes to health care publisher materials, develops education and resources for hospice and palliative care providers, and serves on the American Nursing Association's national palliative nursing task group.

Continuing Education Credits

A total of 5 credits of continuing education credits are available for nurses and social workers (Category I).
Certificates will be distributed to attendees who are registered for the Conference, sign the session attendance sheet, stay for the entire session, and turn in an evaluation form at the conclusion of each session.

Conference Cancellation Policy

If a registrant is unable to attend the event for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with the registrar, someone else from the same organization. You may also apply the credit to a different HPCNM event.

Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person or to another event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

a.       Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees.

b.       Registrations cancelled less than 60 but more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.

c.       Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
